• Timber shutters, doors and window frames: water-based enamel over a wood primer. Oil-based enamel yellows quickly on the sun-facing side and the colour difference between elevations becomes obvious within two years.
• Roofs: an acrylic roof coating over a rust-treated and primed surface, in a colour agreed up front where approvals apply.
